This is quite, well, super
This is so awesome. I am not only a major Mario Brothers nerd, but I love the sound of this rendition on the song. Very cool.
More sad news
It seems I missed this when it happened, but the First Lady of Trek passed away recently. Majel Barret, the wife of legendary Star Trek creator Gene Roddenberry, was in every episode of the original Star Trek series. Remember her? No? Seriously? She was the voice of the ships on board computer system.
You might also remember her from roles in both the ST: The Next Generation and ST: Deep Space...
Walsh case closed
I am happy that the Walsh family now has some closure. Police: Drifter killed Adam Walsh in 1981
Get in line
Found a great utility to help in designing your site (or in my case RapidWeaver themes) to line up to a specified baseline grid. Syncotype allows you to overlay a grid on top of your page in a browser window. Uses a bookmarklet to do so. Have a look, here.
BatteryInfo Widget →
I’m sure this is old news to some, but I was in search of a battery widget for my laptop dashboard and stumbled upon this beauty. Works great and is quite stylish to boot.

This is pretty damn slick. Not just because it is Mario, though that is a huge plus, but because I could invision myself doing this. Checkout the Pushpin Mario Slideshow.
Did HP "out-touch" Apple? →
A nicely written article by TUAW (The Unofficial Apple Weblog) regarding Business Week’s claim that HP beat Apple to making a multi-touch laptop. TUAW gets it right.
NASA Mission Control →
This is a killer site that lets you assemble space vehicles, launch missions and play around in zero-g. I don’t know how I missed this site, since it appears that it has been up since the Discovery Channel aired their series ‘When We Left Earth.’ I still need to get this on DVD.
